I'm not here to teach you how to live. I'm here to write through the parts no one explains.
My name is Jakob Franzen. I write at the intersection of grief, queerness, clarity, and becoming.
The work lives in the aftermath— what happens when the job title no longer fits, the marriage ends, the faith unravels, or the body stops being touched.
The question I’m asking isn’t “How do we go back?” It’s: “What do we do now?”
I’ve lived a life with chapters I didn’t see coming. Widowed. Queer. Parent. Founder. Skeptic. Seeker.
Some days I write like a scalpel. Some days like a prayer. But always with the belief that truth—if held precisely—can cut and heal.
This is not a place for tips, hacks, or viral takes. This is where the sharp things live. And if you're still here, maybe you’ve got a few of your own.
